Ones man's trash is another mans treasure. Two weeks ago, The Gahanna Team unceremoniously dumped Randy Johnson on his big unit. Immediately revenge was on his mind. How to get back at his jilted team? Lets get the agent on it. Hmmm . . . lets see . . . who's got money left? Oh yeah that team from Minneapolis. Don't they play in the same division? Isn't it the team that knocked off the 1975 Champs? Maybe they could use the best lefty in the world to shut down leftsiders Bond, Gehrig, Griffey. Well according to an inside source, a deal was struck while everyone was home celebrating Christmas.
Officially the Minneapolis Millers dropped Noodles Hahn, and Right Fielder Sam Thompson. They claimed second basemen Jimmy Williams and Randy Johnson. Will the Gahanna team regret dropping the Unit? Would they have dropped the Unit if they knew he would end right back up in the American League East? Ready or not, here comes the 2008 Municipal League Season.

Last year the Champ had Bonds and the first round loser had Randy Johnson. Last time I checked Randy Johnson went once every 4 or 5 days while Bonds played every day. Has anyone checked what Barry's numbers were at ATT Park? This could give a lot of pitchers whiplash. This move my prompt dropping a LH power Hitter and Picking up a Right handed one. HMMMMMMMMMM
GAHANNA SMALL BALL MGMT
Randy "Blazing Saddles" Johnson and Mordicai "Children of the Corn" Brown have to be one of the best 1, 2 pitching combos in the league. Unfortunately for John, It will bring his Pitching to hitting ratio too high. I'll tell you from experience, Mr. Johnson will break your heart down the stretch giving up 3 run bombs after striking out 10 batters. He is the king of the 3-2 loss. Are them fightin' words? Game on.
Barry and his roid rage will be contagious and the whole squad is gonna score runs at a very fast clip. Can Bonds, Gehrig, Griffey, Clemente and Minoso be stopped. Who knows. I will tell you the best PH in the league this year will be Jose Vidro.
Did I say that my team was good? Just in case I didn't say it... I would like to say that Gahanna probably will be in the playoffs again and will probably win the division now that the Unit is part of the House of Miller. Just like the old days of returnable beer bottles, I feel as if I will be seeing M.r Johnson on the waiver wire very soon, say after 48 games.
Stay tuned and I am sure that we all would like Mr. Moose to be on the outside looking in for the playoffs. How many years has he won this league? Is John the "Evil Empire"? the "Yankees of Fantasy"? Stayed tuned and be nice to Small Ball, its not like Small does anything to warrant some sort of repulsion, is there
:)
Can we get this thing started already?
Be nice to Small Ball? Absolutely. The Boys of Gahanna have never done or said anything to warrant the garbage heaped upon them.
A hint to the prognostication for SB...reference was made to the film Jaws..."we're gonna need a bigger boat."
Al Michaels, "Good Pitching, beats good hitting."
