The Jamestown Jays have announced today that they will be upgrading from Ebbets Field to Citi Field. The New York Stadium will open a year early for Municipal League Play. The new design is based on the Historical Architecture of Ebbets Field. The predominate pitchers park will be a change for the Jays ball team.
Jamestown team officials were very excited with the new stadium and design. According to a team insider, "we are extremely pleased with the new Stadium. We needed to compete with our main divisional competitor (St. Paul Saints). And there was no way our owner was going to sit idly by while the Saints were celebrating a new stadium (Twins Ballpark). This puts us in a very competitive position."
