Red Sox Announce Personnel Moves

1/16/09 BOSTON -- The Boston Red Sox today announced a series of personnel moves in the organization's Baseball Operations and Scouting departments.
The announcement was made by Executive Vice President/General Manager Theo Epstein.

Tom Tippett has been hired as Director, Baseball Information Services. Tippett began consulting with the Red Sox Baseball Operations department in 2003 and has since assisted in a variety of technology and baseball research projects. He was the Founder and President of Diamond Mind, Inc. and developed its baseball simulation software.

This is the guy who wrote and developed the software that we run the Municipal League On.
