American League Superiority?

Sporting the best interleague record in the Municipal League this season at 13-5? You guessed right - the Irish Kickers of the American League. Against the NL they have a .722 winning record. Against the AL - lets no go there.

Currently their is not a single team in the National League that has a winning interleague record. Only the Lindstrom Sluggers (9-9) are sitting at .500.

The American League only has one team sitting below .500 (Lucky Lindy's 8-10). The top six squads are averaging 4 more wins then losses against the NL. Is it the bats? Cold weather? Early season jitters? There are still 30 interleague contests for each team to play. But the NL will definitely be playing catch up.

Easy answer...
The National League managers can't saddle their rosters with washed-up, fielding-liability, slugs who can only hit da ball.
The NL is the Minuteman League. Every player must be ready and able to take the field at a moments notice. No room for Jose Canseco and Company in the NL. Finesse is the key, and the attraction, of baseball to the purist.

I wonder if the American League superiority has anything to do with Moosey and Sullivan joining it. I hate it when I am right.

Gret job by the Kickers in Flexing the AL muscle. We are 2 games away from the Halfway point. The Millers and Small Ballers have only played three times. Something has to give.
