To say Rajah Hornsby, the Jays second sacker was a Jerk on the level of Cobb is an understatement. He refused to attend his mother’s funeral. In a verbal argument with Art Fletcher he reeled off and punched him because he “wasn’t making any progress trying to talk to him.” Team him up with Kenny “Cameraman” Rogers, Alex “Mr. April” Rodriguiz (pictured above), Gary “I am Legend” Sheffield and you have quite a collection. In a surprise move, the team let Boggs go. He fit in so nicely with these jerks.
What could work: The hitting. This team has a formidable lineup. Hornsby, Bagwell, Sheffield, A-Rod, Johnny Bench, Andruw Jones, Garrett Anderson, Rondell White (sorry about that last one). There are no easy outs. And watch out in rightfield. This new stadium has a right field porch that extends into and over fair territory by eight feet.
What could fail: A heavy hitting team in a (predicted to be) pitcher friendly ballpark. Santana in this park could win 25 games. Unfortunately for the Jays this could work against their power hitters. A stronger pitching staff could have been put in place, David Cone, Kenny Rogers, Rudy May and Steve Avery will perform well in the park, but they’ll typically be going against some much stronger staffs.
Result: 76-86. Karma is big in baseball. The new Citi Stadium has lots of tributes to Jackie Robinson and Ebbets Field. The baseball gods want Jackie on the Jays.

That is Harsh, it seems as if somebody went to the SID school of negativity. I wonder if any team he rates will have a record above
.50. I suppose he is saving the best for last which should mean that the Gahanna preview will be a long time coming :)

Patience Sid. Only two of the 16 are posted. I can assure you that some teams will have winning records.
One division at a time. Bottom to top in each. AL West (or is it AL East?) is first. If they're posted in the order that they were sent to the commish, the NL East will be posted last...Relax Sparky...have another butt.
