On April 22, 2008 Cy Young threw the Muni Leagues First No Hitter of the Season. Since that time, nine Munileaguers came oh so close, each tossing one hit complete game shutouts. The closest to matching Cy's feat was Randy Johnson on May 31. With one out in the 9th, Austin's Frankie Frisch broke up the no hitter with a single. On June 4, the Jamestown Jays Rudy May (pictured above) took his no hitter into the 9th before a single by Roberto Alomar broke it up. Also Miller's Charlie Jones broke up GSB's Doc Goodens bid in the 9th on June 23rd.
