Awards were handed out today for the month of June. We have another full set of first time winners.
Award Manager.Owner of the month, Johnny Knauss and the Rockville Rubble went 20-10. They pulled within 2 games of the Marilynd Monroes of the NL East Division lead. As expected, this division is sporting championship quality.
Gregg 'Triple G" Carlson's Lindstrom Sluggers Carl Hubbell (pictured at left) tossed a 2.23 ERA, going 4-0 to keep the Slugs at the front of their division. Carl won by a hair.
Marilynd Monroes Babe Ruth, 12 homers (tied 1st), 31 runs scored (1st), 31 RBI's took the Hitter of the Month on a very close call over Mickey Mantle.
