World Series Game One - Coors Field
New York Knights send Sam McDowell (13-8) to the hill to face the Monroes Pink Hawley (13-3).
The Knights hammered Hawley early, scoring four in the first - sending nine to the plate. In the second the Knights kept up the pounding. Hawley was chased with one out in the 2nd after a Heilmann double brought home two. The Knights added for more in the second for a total of 10.
The Knights pounded out 23 hits, 14 runs to take game one. The final score Knights 14 Monroes 3.
